1948 Dodge pilothouse rat rod

Hello Im mark and this is my project which is a 48 dodge pilothouse truck that was an old firetruck but now a rat rod. This thing all started when I was 17 in the summer and im still working on it through 18. I'm adapting a 06 dodge durango frame with a hemi under it to bring it slightly closer to modern saftey and reliability for my old truck and all the work and funding has be done by me and any friends to help with the fabrication skill I learned along the way it's really has taught me alot and I got so much more to go. Because i wanted to be cool I made the front end tilt with some jank but i like it and it works I took the motor out and painted it gold for the early hemis were gold and named firepower and I like the history with the matcheness and eventually I want it to shoot flames out the side of the exhaust for the fire part too I hope. I'm keeping the paint the way it is in the red brownish with maybe some clear but I like the rustic and fire truck look. I'm hoping to drive it to the fire station it belong to in Hanna City the logan-trvioli fire station posted there and get a cool reliving picture. It's come along way I think and theres always more but I'm hoping to have it running and driving this summer for all the cool shows.
