1977 F-150 Ranger XLT

My father gave me an old Ford pickup that was in rough shape mechanically, but was a solid truck overall. I did what I could to keep it going until the tired old 6.6L finally gave out. I did some searching and found a great candidate for a swap. I get started and just about every piece of hardware was stuck in place. 47 year old bolts and nuts needed a little liquid persuasion in the form of WD-40. Spray, wait, twist. Over and over until the job was done. Exhaust manifolds, motor mounts, transmission mounts, the whole nine yards. WD-40 made sure I didn't break a single one. A decade ago, that poor truck could barely pull its own weight and today it lays rubber on command. Thanks in part to WD-40.
