1988 GMC JIMMY 454 SWAP ON 1 TON RUNNING GEAR

Bought the Jimmy from under an old carport. Hadn't ran in 11 years, fuel tank was out, transmission was out. Hauled it home and got to work. Installed trans, fuel pump, and tank. Worked through all details and serviced everything that was serviceable. Built new rear interior panels and installed new sound system. Fired it up and drove it for about 8 months until valve stem seals blew. Pulled engine and did my first rebuild. Person who built my heads didn't set spring pressures correctly. Chased bad vacuum and rich running for months. Pulled engine again and had heads fixed. Put it back in last week and just finished wiring up the new Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 tonight. Will be starting it for the first time tomorrow.
