3 generation 1969

I built this truck for myself, then passed it down to my daughter for her first vehicle when she turned 16. After getting married and having her first son she needed a family car instead of the truck so I swapped a nice car to her for the truck back, with the stipulation that I pass it down to her son as his first vehicle. I rebuilt it for myself with a 426 HP 383, which is way too much power to pass down to my grandson, so now that he is a teenager we are now in the process of restoring the truck for him, but with less horsepower. As for my use of WD-40 ; every motor I build is sprayed down with WD-40 and stored inside of large plastic bags until I am ready to assemble and paint them. The head you see is from my 575 HP BBC after being coated in WD-40 and stored for about 14 years, along with the rest of the motor. As you can see there is not a speck of rust on any of it after being coated with WD-40 and stored for so long. The best product I have found to protect my parts during storage without any problems whatsoever. Thanks WD-40.
