BBQ Grill Stand Table Saw

Plus 4 more

Bought an old Table Saw at an estate sale that had a bulky rectangular homemade stand made of various pieces of wood and particle board.
I wanted something less boxy and more streamlined, so I used the base of a Barbecue grill someone left out for trash pickup. I made a cardboard template to locate the hole locations that allow the cast iron saw body to bolt onto the steel tubing of the stand. To mount the motor, I used angle iron cut from a bed frame that was another curbside trash find.
I’m quite content with how it turned out. This old table saw is actually more precise than a much newer light weight portable one that I also own.
