Wd-40 really helps out a lot. On this project we tackled a bmw e36/7 with a m54b28 i6 the motor decided to let rod 4 go out the side thru the hood so we just put a stack on it for the cool flames. This donor motor was a m54b28 also but it had a blown head gasket and had been sitting for over a year. But after some wd-40 we got all the rust and gunk cleaned up and resurfaced the block and head at home with new head gaskets and bolts and a homemade wooden jig for the vanos units... this motor is back to life just like when it was new. Wd-40 doesn't just help with stuck bolts or parts it also helps clean up gunk and rust! Wd-40 has a use for just about everything thanks wd-40. Donor motor was free wd40 can fix almost anything even if you think it's trash.
