Bringing back the 80's

Purchased this 1988 ford escort for my wife to drive to work, she parks downtown in a tight parking ramp. After crunching a rear fender we started looking for small inexpensive cars and landed on this. I've fixed a bad oil leak, did a full tune up, replaced rear window and even fixed an electrical problem with the fuel pump. My biggest accomplishment was fixing the power seat belt track, it was damaged and no parts are available. So I figured out a way to plastic weld the ribbon back together and its working like new! Working on saving up for some better looking wheels and tires and trying to find a rear bumper.
