Bronco II Roadster

My wife and I wanted a 1960's bronco roadster but could not afford one. I found a wrecked bronco II and the idea came to me to make a bronco II roadster. My first idea was to just cut the top off, but that's been done and it don't look right in my opinion. So we found a Ford ranger bed being sold as junk. I bought the bed and cut it down to fit the chassis of the bronco merging the two trucks into one. To be clear I am not a metal fabricator. I had to buy and learn how to use welders, body hammers, plasma cutter, and various measuring tools to make this happen. Every bit of this was done in a small barn at the back of our property because we don't have a garage yet..lol. This was a true labor of love because none of it was easy to do. That said the hard work gave me the true roadster I was looking for, 2 seats and a bed. We also had to repair wiring, switches, brakes, brake lines, suspension, steering, gaskets, fluids, fuel tank, radiator, and so on. With this machine sitting so long we definitely used WD40 to remove a mountain of seized hardware! It's not completely finished but after 5 years of working weekends we are finally driving it on what we call " bronco adventures". Short trips to local swimming holes and tourist attractions. It draws attention everywhere it goes and everyone loves to take pictures and videos. We love it so much and are excited to see how the bronco will evolve in the future. We look forward to finishing some body work, a paint job, a new clutch, and some random odds and ends to really bring it together. I hope you enjoy what we have done so far and will consider us for the prize. Thank you!
