Daily driving restoration
I bought this 1996 Ford Bronco for $1200 and dragged it out of a field. Then after using the Bronco to help me remove over 60k pounds of trash from the environment I decided to do a full restoration with upgrades.
Step 1
The back end of my Bronco was too rusted out to salvage but luckily I found a bed from a 95 Bronco. So had to chop mine in half & weld that new bed back into place
Step 2
After getting the body put back together last summer my AC clutch locked up & I decided to replace the entire system. Which then led to replacing the radiator core support which then I upgraded to an aluminum radiator with dual 14" electric fans so then I replaced everything down to the timing chain & cover. Upgrading the water pump to a flowkooler pump then Upgrading my battery wire to 00 wires.
Step 3
Since this is my daily driver & road trip vehicle. I needed to make sure everything was solid. So I replaced all the bushing plus sanded down & painted both sway bars for a cleaner look.
Step 4
Wanted to get the Bronco atleast a solid color instead of 5 different colors. So I sanded the Bronco down myself & spray painted her in the garage until I can afford a color shifting paint job
Step 5
Once I can afford to buy a 56 mm BBK throttle body I'll be doing an upper engine rebuild. Mainly going to replace the EGR tube & Valve but since I have to remove up the upper plenum then I'll upgrade my fuel injectors to 4 port instead of the stock single port. Will also upgrade all my vacuum lines to silicone. I'll also deep clean every part I'm not replacing & painting the plenum green & making custom valve covers since there aren't really any options for efi engines.
