Little Ones Home Artwork

Project artwork removal: If you have little ones you know that they love to use the house as one giant canvas and you will find artwork all over the walls all over the house. With that being said you'll find yourself using all kinds of products and methods to try and remove everything from pens to crayons to markers and more.

This is a huge project that I took on without a plan but After some research I realized that I could minimize the labor and not damage the walls or have to repaint them by using WD-40 to remove the markings on the walls and it worked beautifully!

I'm also a furniture flipper so this came in very handy for smaller projects.

Step 1: Prep your area

Make sure the area that you are working on has been dusted off with a clean dry towel I prefer using microfiber, wipe it down clean with a lightly soapy water solution, ring the towel and go over the area you are going to treat and let it dry for at least a couple of hours before applying the WD-40.

Once dry can apply the WD-40 and let it sit for a minute or two then use a clean micro fiber cloth to gently wipe it away.

Take another clean towel and go over the area once again.

Step 2: Next day final cleanup

I generally go back the next day and clean the area(s) with a small bucket of water with a tablespoon of soap dipping the clean microfiber towel or rag in the water get it completely saturated and then the ring it out to wipe the wall down again ensuring that you've removed any residue from the previous day.
