My Bonneville's Back

I bought this bike back around 1980, drove it for about 8 years and sold it to a neighbor.
My neighbor rode it for a couple of years then put it in the back of his garage where it sat for 33 years.
After all that time, he gave it back to me and for the last year and a half I've restored it.
WD40 played a large part in its restoration because my neighbor sprayed the entire bike with WD40 before he stored it in order to preserve the bike.
His idea worked very well. The metal parts were in remarkable shape after sitting for 33 years!
I do have photos of the bike when we rolled it out of his garage.
It looked really ugly because 33 years of dust, pollen, etc. had stuck to the WD40. butit was really easy to wash off.
Now, as you can see, it looks great for being almost 50 years old.
