Old Blue
Restoring the family 1982 Silverado to allow a 4th generation drive and enjoy it.
Step 1
This was my grandfathers truck purchased in 1982 from Ray Chevrolet. My father has driven over the years until the stock motor threw a rid at 360k miles. The truck sat and sat, until we started gathering parts, including an entirely new drive train
Step 2
A balanced 350 stroker motor with a mild Lunati cam, posted heads, and exhaust manifold from a 1994 Silverado.
Step 3
The bed comes off for an entire new and larger fuel and break system. A quick pressure washing before going back into the shop. Gallons of WD40 product was used and was a life saver.
Step 4
Her first start goes well, with a ton of timing and carb adjusting.
Step 5
Having custom 2" dual exhaust installed by 3 star muffler in Little Rock. Same owner for 40+ years. He does awesome work.
Step 6
Waiting for cooler weather to start the interior, and exterior. The entire suspension has been replaced with all new parts.
