Here we have a 1997 Ext. cab short bed F-250 Heavy Duty 7.3L powerstroke 5spd 4x4 that I purchased back in 2018 without the engine and parts scattered throughout the dirty vehicle. It had sat for 5 years prior to my purchase, found it on Facebook marketplace and drove 2-1/2 hours to purchase and trailer home. These are photos through out the process of rebuild and the 4 years I owned it up until the sale to my brother-n-law.

Here are a few photos from the day I drove up to purchase the truck. She got a pressure wash as soon as I got back home with her.

Here are a few photos of the engine I purchased from a co-worker/friend of mine. He just so happened to have a parts truck with a running 7.3 that he didn’t need. First few are when I first got the engine and the last are after doing a mild refresh on the know parts for failing with age. She’s all cleaned up at the end.

Here she is day after everything that was missing or removed was replaced. She wasn’t too bad for being a 21 year old truck at the time!

Here are a few photos of the truck in its condition right before it was sold to my brother-n-law. She was going to be missed but knew she was going to a good home.

Well, thinking that the day I sold her was going to be the worst day, I was wrong! This is the worst day, when I saw the picture my stomach turned upside down, my pride and joy that I resurrected had now gone back to the graveyard for good. This actually happened recently. Happened on his way to vacation pulling his party barge. I know that he was upset because this was his baby but all that matters is he was able to walk away without a scratch, thank the Lord.
