R6 resurrection
This bike was recommended from a friend of a friend. The original rider of this motorcycle Eric Connell sadly passed away in WERA super stock race. I was put in contact with his father who wanted someone to rebuild this bike to its former glory and ride, race and chase championship. I am active duty military so the process to longer than expected but it’s well underway
Step 1
Picking to motorcycle up and accessing damage
Step 2
Removing anything broken or compromised and building a list
Step 3
Rewire, fueling, engine work
Step 4
First start, and gremlin chasing
Step 5
Fairing mockup, odd and ends and first ride
Step 6
Finally the testing day
Step 7
Besides making it pretty the project is done
