We chose to replace our old water heater with a brand new tankless water heater that gives us water as soon as we need it. But when we installed it, we needed a certain fitting the old one had that we needed. So we used WD-40 to break the part free so we could take it in store and compare for a new one. The WD-40 worked effortlessly and made the job easier knowing what part we needed.
