Use WD-40 to repel snakes

We have a back-yard patio that adjoins a golf course and a creek. Occasionally, turtles, snakes and squirrels come up to our home looking for water.
I’ve found that the strong smell of WD-40 will keep them and bugs and bees away.
We just had a snake invade our patio and I put a fresh spray of WD-40 on the shelves and brick wall. The snake immediately slivered away when the scent of WD-40 was present.
See pictures below:

I also spray it around the garage door, and all outside doors to keep bugs, wasps, squirrels, turtles, and snakes away.
Thank you for a product I use for dozens of lubricant needs around the house. It’s comforting to know that WD-40 has so many uses.
Sincerely,
