WD-40 and The Dukes of Hazzard!
Hi my name is Milton Dacus Jr and I own /operate a automotive restoration/repair shop in Smiths Station Alabama Called “Hazzard County Garage” I do other vehicles but I specialize in the dukes of Hazzard vehicles I build actual replicas of the cars from the 1980s tv series for myself and many customers . I have built Daisy duke jeeps for Cooters Place stores in Tennessee and Virginia and currently im building another Daisy Duke, Jeep, and a general Lee for myself while working on a Super nice Rosco P Coletrain sheriff car that a customer is having me build for them all while trying to improve my work areas at the shop, lately I have been Trying to fund the completion of a makeshift paint booth area in my shop building , Hoping to get that completed soon and meanwhile, I’m about 1/2 of the way through the Rosco sheriff car build, which In fact, I did use WD-40 to Soak all the bolts on the front and rear bumpers on this car back in march when I had to take them apart to send them to Chrome plating , As always,wd40 made the getting the bolts loose on this almost 50-year-old car a breeze there were a few that I had to use the torch on, but it’s mainly because the square head bolts were starting to round off can’t help that but it did make a lot of the bolts come off without any issue! Anyways, that’s my story and what I’m up to in my shop lately !! would love to win the prize so I could put it towards finishing my paint booth so I can turn out more projects !!! Thanks and Yeehaa!!
